We’ve lived on this property for 22 years, raised our two kids here, and now we’re excited to share our little slice of paradise with others. Six years ago, we started renting it out, and it’s been amazing to see families come and enjoy this special spot. One of my favorite things is flying around the Shuswap in my ultralight aircraft, capturing beautiful photos. After over 1,000 hours of flying above this lake, I can honestly say it’s my favorite place in the world!

The location is amazing! You are right on the water. Lots of water toys (non motorized) to use that kept the kids busy. We were a little worried when we booked about being next door to the pub and the noise level and the water being busy but that wasn’t an issue at all. The house was well supplied. Tim was a great host. We would book again for sure.

Accommodations were beyond expectations. FULLY stocked kitchen with all possible condiments, spices, canned goods and plentiful utensils, plates etc. BBQ. Tons of sundries such as paper towels. Needed to buy only groceries. All else there.
Location right on beach, grocery store 10 minute walk or 1 minute drive. Finns restaurant good and right next door.
Kayaks, paddle boards as advertised. Wonderful vacation stay

Tim was friendly, kind and welcoming to our family and was willing to help us sort out launching and docking our boat. Couldn’t have asked for more!

House was well equipped. Extras included a fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, multiple kayaks and the use of the dock and private buoy. Views are amazing from the upper deck. Evenings sunsets on the lower deck by the fire were also breathtaking. Satellite radio and surround sound patio speakers added to the atmosphere. The adjacent establishment, Finz, is fun and serves amazing pizza. Gas is also conveniently located on the dock at Finz to ensure there is no lost boating time.

Perfect Location on the water!

Tim met with us and made sure we were familiar with the home. He has plenty of space to set up bocce ball, badminton and ladder ball. Plenty of space for guest parking, and a well equipped kitchen. Nice flat lot right on the water! Conveniently located close to a restaurant and a grocery store within walking distance. House was clean, and beds had nice sheets and lots of extra blankets/towels. I would highly recommend Tim’s home to anyone looking for a place in the Shuswap. Thank you Tim, for the opportunity of staying in your rental.

Spent a week at Tim's house with family, it was a GREAT place to accommodate our group (4 adults + 3 kids), more than enough space for us. House is stocked with everything you could ever need, was a bonus to have a washer/dryer to use as well (came in handy with 3 kids!). Cant beat the location, close to many amenities. Wish we had a boat but could have rented one next door of we really wanted to. Awesome vacation spot, definitely recommend this place!

The house was spacious and well stocked, and the location was nice and central for exploring the Shushwap. The huge yard was big enough for soccer games, the fire pit area was cozy and the driveway could fit lots of vehicles.
We loved eating on the deck and watching the beautiful sunsets. A great grocery store was minutes away with lots of quality options. We tried Finz next for dinner one night, busy but great food. Tim was available and easy to contact. Adults and kids used the three kayaks available for use and the floating bicycle was a big hit! The yurt was handy when extra guests stopped by.
The only unfortunate thing was that the lake was so low due to the summer's heat that swimming was tricky due to the shallowness and weeds.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tim's property, the views from the deck are amazing and having the lower deck area with a firepit made for excellent family evenings looking out onto the lake. The dock was great and we used the dock whips which made it easy coming to and from the lake. Tim made our stay very enjoyable and was quick to answer any of our questions, if you enjoy lakeside access to the Shuswap's it does not get much better than this.

Great property right on the water with lovely sunsets and lots of room inside. Nice to stay there over Thanksgiving and enjoy the morning and evening views. Even opportunity to have a fire by the beach though in the end we didn’t have time. Overall very nice property. We booked the yurt too and it was a neat experience. Tim was very responsive to our needs.

Right on the Beach

This property certainly helped make our vacation great. With 6 adults, 2 children and an infant, there was plenty of comfortable beds/rooms. Tim was the perfect owner. He lives across the street and was available for any request or issue and always concerned for our enjoyment and safety.
Located on the beach, perfect for swimming and using the available kayaks and water bike. The property had plenty of space for kids playing on one side and quiet time on the other. There was still a sitting area in the front with the beach and a large covered deck at the back with a dining table that easily sat 8. There was a dock that would easily accommodate your boat or sea-do’s.
In the house it was nice to have one big room for sitting, dining, and kitchen which allowed everyone inside if by some chance the weather wasn’t cooperative. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The inside was clean and the A/C had the home cool when we arrived.
A grocery store just down the street made stocking up on food and liquor easy and Finz Restaurant next door provided us with great pizza one night. The music at the bar next door was never a problem.
We would not hesitate to recommend Tim’s Blind Bay property for a fun relaxing place to stay on the beach.

Family Relaxation

Our vacation was exactly as we had planned. We relaxed the entire week leaving only a few times to grab groceries close by, an excursion to a nearby waterfall and a couple wineries. The house is a great size and had everything needed. The kids spent the majority of their day playing on the beach and jumping in the water. Tim even has a Kayak for the kids! I definitely recommend this property for a relaxing family getaway!

Restaurant right next door for those that hate cooking. Owner was great and very easy to deal with. Loved the kayaks that were available for us. House was great and wanted for nothing
